What Is Website Monitoring?
It's done by sending requests via HTTP to your website, which will return a response code: "200" (OK) or "4XX" (error). The interval at which these requests are sent is configurable and can be anywhere from one minute to once every 10 minutes. They will attempt to get a "200" response from your website, or if an error occurs for all subsequent probes, the tool will log the error and alert you.
Why Should You Use a Monitoring Tool?
There are many reasons why you should use a tool. First of all, if your website is down and you do not know about it for whatever reason your customers will probably call you to complain about it. This can be very annoying since usually they cannot reach you to vent their anger! Furthermore, people who are checking on the status of your website are concerned that something bad has happened to it.
What Does the Free Website Monitoring Plan Include?
Robotalp offers a free plan with the following limits: 20 monitors, 100 alerts per months, 1 organization/user and 1 status page.
Paid vs Free
Paid vs Free is an important decision for any business looking to monitor their websites effectively. As businesses increase in size and complexity, the need for robust monitoring capabilities increases as well. Choosing the right monitoring system can be challenging due to the wide range of options available. The most obvious difference between paid and free systems is cost. Paid monitoring tools often provide additional features like real-time alerts, better understanding of system performance, and increased scalability.
Our promise as Robotalp is that the free plan, which will meet your basic needs, will always be free. Robotalp may not be the most popular free monitoring tool, but it is the most generous one with the free features it offers.

What to Look for in a Free Website Monitoring Solution
Today, it is crucial to have a monitoring solution that meets your organization's needs. But with so many options available, how do you know which one is right for you? To help make the decision easier, here are some key things to look for in a monitoring solution.
A good free monitoring solution should be reliable and accurate. The tool should give you real-time information about your website, such as load times and availability. This will help you make informed decisions.
Additionally, it should be easy to set up and use – after all, the last thing you want is a complicated system that takes hours (or even days) to configure.
Another important factor to consider when choosing a monitoring solution is scalability. Your business needs may change over time, so it’s important to choose a monitoring solution that can grow with your organization. 🤷🏼
